Jasmine Kapadia (she/her) is a poet, aka a popstar. She is
18, Asian-American, and based in NYC. She studies computational linguistics at Barnard college of Columbia University.

Jasmine is a member of the Youth Speaks PowerLab. She has been a 2022 SCC slam team member, a 2021 Write the World Community Ambassador, a 2021 SCC YPL Finalist, and a poetry editor for Indigo Lit. She has work in Malala Fund’s Assembly, Kissing Dynamite, All Guts No Glory, among other places. Her work has been recognised by ABC News, Poetry Society UK, KQED news, and elsewhere. Jasmine has been nominated for the 2021 Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. She has performed at rallies and book launches, slams and poetry clubs.
